AI consultants who build what they recommend.
HeimMax is a Melbourne consultancy that finds where your business is wasting time or carrying risk, then builds the fix. The people who work out your problem are the people who build the answer, so the advice ends with something working in your business, not a report on a shelf.
Common questions
Do I need to know what I want before we talk?
No. Most people we meet know something is costing them time but not what the fix is. Bring the problem; working out the answer is our job.
What if AI isn't the answer?
Then we say so. Plenty of fixes are an app or an automation with no AI in them, and some are software you can rent. We recommend what fits, because we're the ones who have to build it.
What does Discovery cost?
It's priced up front for your process, before you commit, and we only suggest it when the process is complicated enough to need it.
Do you work outside Melbourne?
Yes. We're in Melbourne and meet in person where it helps, and we work by video with businesses anywhere in Australia.
When you know there's a better way, but not where to start
You know the business could run better. The roster lives in Excel, quotes are built by hand, the core system does half the job and spreadsheets do the rest. Every workaround costs time and adds a little risk: a wrong figure, a missed renewal, nobody quite sure what's happening this week. What you don't know is where to start, which job to fix first, and whether AI changes the answer. That's the step we fill, before you buy software or brief a developer.
How it works
It starts with a conversation of 60 to 90 minutes, in person in Melbourne or by video, and it costs nothing. You walk us through how the work moves through your business, and we look for the 2 or 3 places it costs you most. If the fix is simple, you get an Opportunity Report within 48 hours, with what we'd build, what it costs and how long it takes. If the process is complicated, we'll suggest a paid Discovery first, priced up front, because working out a complicated process properly takes a day or two of watching how your team does the work.
Advice from the people who build it
AI has made building fast, but it hasn't made knowing what to build any easier, so we start with the problem. The same small senior team works it out, designs the fix and builds it, with developers, designers and data specialists from our network joining when a job needs them. Nothing gets lost between the advice and the build, and nobody recommends something they won't have to make work.
What the fix can be
Sometimes it's an AI agent that answers the phone or reads the inbox. Often it isn't AI at all: a custom app your team uses every day, an automation between the systems you already run, or a dashboard that shows where the jobs and the cash are. Sometimes the answer is software you can rent today, and then we'll tell you to buy it. Nobody should rebuild Xero, but the tools that are particular to your business are worth owning, and you own what we build. We also give advice with no build attached, such as how to set AI up across a larger organisation and which models to use.
Staying on as your technical partner
Some businesses want more than one project. We can stay on as your product and technical partner, deciding with you what to build next and what to leave alone, and looking after what we've built so it keeps running. It's set up to suit each business, so we'll talk it through in the first conversation.
Is it the right call for you?
It's worth a conversation when the same process runs every day or every week, when it costs you real time, errors or risk, and when you're willing to change how the work gets done. If the job is too small to justify a build, we'll say so and point you at something simpler.
